Brief Summary:

This is a day activity, based on the natural environment. The Cub Scouts who participate will gain a SIA Environment Badge and the Earth Tribe Champions for Nature Badge, through a range of hand on activities, including bug watch. Only Cubs who are with Leaders should attend.

Additional Information

Please wear your Group scarf, shorts and tee shirt (a group shirt if your group has one).

Cub Scouts must bring a small backpack, your own food for the day, water bottle, hat, sunscreen, roll on insect repellant, raincoat, jumper.

Bring along another pair of shoes that can be worn in the water for Bug Watch, e.g. an old pair of sneakers, no thongs, crocs or sandals are to be worn in the water or on the day.

The total number of Cub Scouts allowed to attend on this day is 40. There must be at least one Leader per Unit. Cub Scouts must inform their Unit Leader if they register.
