With teamwork, laughter, new friendships, and good vibes all weekend long, this camp is the perfect mix of camping, adventure, and memories that will stay on repeat.

2026 H&C Region Venture: Pick Your Jam

Get ready for an action-packed weekend at the 2026 H&C Region Venture, held at Myuna Bay Scout Camp.

With the theme “Pick Your Jam”, this event is all about adventure, choice, challenge, and fun. Participants will have the opportunity to take part in a range of exciting activities and bases across the weekend, while connecting with other Venturers from across the Region and abroad.

The event is open to older Scouts aged 14 years and over, as well as all Venturers who are registered on ScoutHUB.

The weekend will run from Friday night through to Sunday afternoon, so please mark the dates in your calendar and start getting ready for a great weekend away.

Activities

Activities are still to be confirmed, but may include:

Climbing wall
Archery
Water slide
Fishing
Canoeing
Other exciting activity bases

Catering

The event will be catered from Saturday breakfast through to Sunday lunch.

Participants will need to make their own arrangements for Friday night dinner.

Accommodation

Accommodation will be camping in tents. Each participant must bring their own tent and camping equipment.

What to Bring

Participants should bring:

Tent
Sleeping gear
Sun-safe clothing
Hat
Raincoat
Towel
Insect repellent
Change of clothes
Swimwear
Enclosed shoes
Personal items
Any other camping essentials

Please note: singlet-style tops are not permitted. Sun-safe clothing must be worn during the event.

Uniform

Scout uniform is to be worn to and from the event.

Membership Requirements

All members must remain financial and registered within ScoutHUB from the time applications close until the end of the event.

All service and line leaders over the age of 18 must be cleared by Scouts Australia NSW to work with children and young people prior to the start of camp. This includes adult helpers and support staff, who must have submitted an A2 form and been accepted by the group prior to the event closing date.
