This event is open to Venturers by invite and to Leaders and Rovers.
The paddle will be an overnight journey from Nymboida Village to Buccarumbi. Overnight gear will be carried in barrels. The barrels are 60L, and all your gear (including tent, cooking, etc..) needs to fit in one barrel.
It won't be possible for parents to drop-off/pick-up youth members, as the start and end point are likely to change, and to be on private property. i.e. everyone needs to be transported by people attending the event.
Key aim is for participants to progress on their Moving/White Water skills, so that they can progress towards appropriate VET qualifications.
The cost includes camp fees ($40), equipment ($20 - kayaks, canoes, paddles, PFDs, helmets), transport costs ($20)
