Come and join us around the campfire for a night of skits, stories and laughter as we celebrate 110 years of Cub Scouts in Australia and National Campfire week.
The theme is Vintage and Retro Scouting. If you have an old uniform or even just a hat or a belt, that a relative or friend once wore in Scouting during the 70's 80's or 90's wear it if it fits.
Don't worry if you don't have any of that, modern uniform is ok.
Cubs will be telling two stories or skits about their Scout Group with one being true and one being completely fabricated. The other cubs will then have to guess which one is true.
Cubs will arrive at the car park at the end of Rocky point road to be escorted by leaders across the foot bridge and into camp.
Winter nights get cold quickly, so please ensure everyone is packed and dressed for outdoor comfort:
What to Wear: Your Vintage outfit or Full Scout Uniform and scarf, layered under a warm jacket, beanie, and gloves.
Footwear: Sturdy, closed-toe shoes are mandatory for safety around the fire (no thongs, sandals, or Crocs).
What to Bring: A camp chair, a torch or headlamp, and a filled water bottle. There will be some additional seating available around the fire.
Cubs may be having marshmallows (This will be managed by Leaders with their own Groups)
Drop of is 6pm & pick up will be 8pm from the Rocky point road car park
During pick up we ask if all parents can please wait in the car park. Please do not walk into the Scout Camp.
