Camp Overview
RoVenture is held yearly within the South Metropolitan Region and is designed as a camp for Venturers to participate in, run by Rovers. The core intent is to provide Venturers an opportunity to interact together, social and in souting principles.
ALL PARTICIPANTS are required to be registered and have all mandatory modules (age appropriate) completed in order to attend. All members over the age of 18 must have a WWC and NPC checks completed by State Office.
As per Scouts NSW policy, Adults (18 and over) are to sleep / tent separately from Youth members. Tents are to seperated by gender.
Activities will include:
Saturday - A wide range of round robin activities run by the different Rover Units in South Metropolitan Region & Hume Region, with a Bushwalk on offer in the afternoon.
Sunday - A Inter Unit World Cup, with the winning Unit going home with the Inaugral RoVenture World Cup.
There will also be various night activities on the Friday and Saturday nights.
Camping Arrangements
All participants will be in single sex, youth only tents.
All adults will be in single sex, adult only tents
Venturers (Youth) are not permitted in any adult tents.
Amenities Arrangements
Youth only toilets and showers will be provided, based at the main site toilets of Heathcote Scout Camp.
Adult only toilets and showers will be provided, based in the Activity Hut.
Separating Youth and Adult toilets is a key priority.
Catering
The following meals will be provided over the duration of the weekend;
Saturday Breakfast, through to Sunday Lunch. Please ensure you have had dinner prior to arriving on-site on Friday night.
Please ensure that any allergy information is included in your online application as a priority. Our catering team must know ahead of time what food is required.
Refund Policy
On or before 26 Oct 2026: full refund, minus a $10 administration fee.
27 Oct 2026 to 31 Oct 2026: full refund, minus a $30 administration fee.
On or after 1 Nov 2026: No Refund - uinless there is a documented exceptional circumstances (minus the $10 fee). This is at the sole discretion of the Event Coordinator. Please contact the Event Coordinator by email as soon as possible, in the event that wish to discuss options.
If a Youth member is sent home from the event for any reason, no refund will be given.
Once you have submitted your registration, an invoice (summary sheet) will be generated with instructions on how to pay for this event. The following payment options will be available to you:
