The cub scout sections in the Port Hacking District, Royal National Park and Yaroona are invited to the Billy Cart Derby 2026.
When: Sunday 23 August 10:00 - 14:00 (races 10:30-13:30)
Where: Miranda Park (next to Port Hacking Highschool)
Participants need to bring: Drink bottle, snacks, hat, proper shoes.
Groups need to bring: Billy cart, helmet, tools to fix their cart, gazebo or blanket, spare water/food.
Costs for participants: $15. This includes a sausage roll and a drink.
If extra food ($2) or drinks ($1.50) are required, drop a message to edwin.groothuis@nsw.scouts.com.au.
Weather: If park is closed by SSC or the weather is not good, then it will be delayed to 13 September.
